We have certification classes in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, Junior Lifeguard Training, CPR and First Aid, Water Safety Instructor, Community CPR/AED and more.

Lifeguard Training

Age: 15 yrs +; Course Length: 36 hours.
Cost: $150, includes books and CPR mask

American Red Cross Lifeguarding is your ticket to fantastic, rewarding work at almost any swimming facility in the country. Upon successful completion, you will be certified in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and Oxygen Administration. Pool and classroom work.

Junior Guard

Age: 11-14 yrs; Course Length: 10 hours.
Cost: $59, includes t-shirt & book
Class schedule

A great American Red Cross beginner course for kids who might be interested in becoming a lifeguard. Participants will be introduced to all the skills necessary to become a lifeguard, from water skills, to CPR, to professionalism and responsibility. The course culminates with the chance to shadow real lifeguards on duty in the waterpark!

Water Safety Instructor (WSI)

Age: 16 years +; Course Length: 36 hours
Cost: $185, includes books and resource CD-ROM

If you like to swim and enjoy sharing those skills and enthusiasm with all ages, this is the certification for you. American Red Cross WSI’s are in large demand all over the country. Another rewarding opportunity in the aquatics industry.

Lifeguarding Instructor (LGI)

Age: 17 years +; Course Length: 36 hours
Cost: $185, includes books and resource CD-ROM

This American Red Cross certification will give you the ability to teach lifeguarding and certify lifeguards as well as teaching CPR/AED and first aid as stand alone classes. A great resource for pool managers, operators, and aquatics directors.

Community CPR & First Aid Classes

American Red Cross Community CPR teaches the skills necessary to perform Adult CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator(AED). American Red Cross Community First Aid teaches basic skills to treat victims of injury or sudden illness. Successful completion of the course will result in certification.
